The cover image is from a purchased cake, to make up for the small regret of not having a cake for my wife's birthday last year.
心迹逐影,which means the footprints of the soul flow with the shadows, recording, tracing, and reflecting on one's inner world. At the same time, interesting information seen during the week is recommended.
This week was a bit easier, but I haven't been getting up early or exercising for the past few days. I have been a bit slack, so I will start getting up early again tomorrow.
Algorithm Competition#
Today, I participated in my first algorithm competition on lc and solved two problems, which I am quite satisfied with. I have also sporadically solved some problems before. I will participate every week from now on to keep my brain active.
Interestingly, I finished the first problem in 11 minutes. When I returned to the competition homepage, I saw that some experts had already completed 3 problems. They are truly terrifyingly strong.
This week, I read an article by Ling Shen on how to scientifically increase ratings. It was the first time I learned about solving problems based on ratings. Previously, I would solve problems based on their types or recommended by others, including easy and difficult ones. I didn't feel like it was improving my skills much. So, I can use this method to solve problems that are 100 points higher than my own competition score, solve more, consolidate more, and summarize more.
Don't Memorize Vocabulary#
This week, I joined a team on Don't Memorize Vocabulary, but for two consecutive days, some teammates failed to complete the first-day check-in task, resulting in the failure of the team formation. It seems like I will continue to go solo in the future.
Cubox#
I recharged my annual membership for Cubox, which I have been using for saving articles to read later and collecting recommended content. This time, because I switched back to the Google browser, I didn't want to keep importing and exporting bookmarks, so I created bookmarks🔖 using Cubox. I installed the Cubox plugin in the browser and entered c in the address bar, followed by the tab key, to search for bookmarks or other content stored in Cubox. It's quite convenient.
I have a question about the pricing strategy. The annual membership for Cubox on the Mac version is more than twice as cheap as on an Android phone. I wonder what the pricing strategy is based on.
